Cody Petersen of Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections said trees growing too close to houses can crack the foundation, creating an opening for wood-destroying organisms like termites. Trees can also act as a bridge for wood-destroying organisms if their branches touch the house, he said.

More than $5,000 was raised this past weekend for individuals and families living with autism.

The Walk Now for Autism Speaks Canada event took to the streets of Kelowna on Sunday, with Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections of British Columbia lending a hand in the fight against autism.

A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections of British Columbia is lending a hand in the fight against autism.

British Columbia regional owners Kim and Dave Williams are teaming up with South Okanagan, Kelowna and Vernon ABCHI franchisees and their families to participate in Walk Now in Kelowna, an annual walking charity event sponsored by Autism Speaks Canada.

Lauren and Alex Redfern are pretty lucky kids, all things considered.
