I would give 6 stars if possible! I am in the process of buying a home, and needed a home inspection as quickly as possible. I contacted Buyer’s Choice Home Inspection on a Friday, and they were able to make it work for the very next day!! Steve Fraser spent 3 hours going over every inch of the house and then a further hour retracing his steps with me and explaining everything. Zero rush and made sure I asked any questions I had. After that, I received a very detailed 77 page inspection report with pictures, explanations, and suggestions. I know this comes late. I purchased a house in May of this year. And it was recommended Justin Asham do the house inspection. He was very thorough, and took as much time as needed to complete the inspection. I believe he was there about 3hours or more. Then he went over all that was immediate to my attention and some suggestions for future. Explained everything in layman’s terms so I understood everything that he was telling me. And he also said if there’s anything in the future that I needed explained he would greatly go over anything that I didn’t understand or missed the first time going through the inspection. Justin is very personable, pleasant and prices are fair for what he’s giving you and the detailed report and the inspection you get in return. I couldn’t be in Medicine Hat for the inspection, but the report was very thorough, but what compelled me to write this review is the aftercare I received even after the fees have been paid.We were pretty hectic in the middle of closing the purchase and had a few concerns. Steve, on our initial call was very accomodating to our request. I mentioned that we are i terested in buying a new home. He gave us a call and instructed me right away of what to expect, what to do, who will inspect the home, and when. Basically everything just on the initial convo. I appreciated his thoroughness and having the relief of knowing what needs to be handled in priority when it comes to home maintenance. Not to mention they provide free technical advice for as long as you own the property that they inspected, and they also keep you updated on all future recalls on all the appliances in your home (with the ability to add others if you buy new). I can’t think of a single negative thing to say as he was meticulous, willing to answer any questions at the time of the inspection and in the future, he was kind and patient. We especially liked that he was very accommodating with us, since we live in Ontario right now, and buying a house site-unseen, so we had a video tour of the house once he was done with his inspection to explain everything. I had such a great home inspection experience with Steve at A Buyer’s Choice!As a first time home buyer Steve look the time to walk me through the home inspection process and everything he would be looking for in advance of the inspection.On the day of the inspection Steve did a thorough walk through of his findings, including showing particular areas with the infrared camera.Steve answered all of my questions and gave me huge peace of mind in moving forward with my first home purchase.The detailed follow-up inspection report will help prioritize repairs and improvements as immediate and further down the line.Cannot recommend enough!

What a great team to work with!! Steve was up front, very thorough and willing to answer our many questions🤣! But it doesn’t stop there. When it was time for my daughter to buy her first house, I asked Steve if there was a Buyer’s Choice in Saskatoon and sure enough there was and they did a great job, worth every dollar; in of itself an excellent investment!!
