Our house inspection saved us money! The very thorough inspection conducted by Dumitru and Jeremy found water seepage in our new house and we were able to negotiate a lower sale price. Both gentlemen were amazing, sitting us down after their 2+ hour inspection and identifying areas of concern along with suggestions on how to deal with them. From the initial point of contact, they kept in contact with reminders. After the inspection, we received a detailed report with loads of pictures. In addition to their own knowledge, their inspection included a drone (to inspect the roof), moisture meters and infrared cameras. We now have a great baseline of where our new house is at and a plan on what needs to be done now, what can wait for a bit plus an idea of annual maintenance. I highly recommend this company and these gentlemen.

I had Mr. Iancu, and his team (four people) come to inspect a home I hope to buy. They spend around 4 hours, looking at and assessing every detail and documenting it. I can be very sure that I have an accurate assessment of the home and the sewer line. I have heard there may have been cheaper inspectors, not sure but for the biggest purchase in your life you want these guys. They produced a 100 ish page report with personalized details as well as the photos that show exactly the conditions. They also had the plumbers report send regarding the sewer lines and a report on any recalls. They covered things a-z and I am satisfied with their work. They are also approaching, kind, with a sense of humor and take time to explain everything in an easy to understand manner -Ryan Bielby

They showed up with a 2 man crew and divided the scope amongst themselves and went through the whole house and caught things some may not. I'll start by saying, save yourself the headaches, and just book with Dumitru & Jeremy if you want a home inspection that lets you sleep at night, you will have no regrets. After referral from my Realtor, Nick Majeau (also fantastic to deal with) and reading through reviews i felt comfortable with them performing the inspection. This team showed up at 1:00PM, i showed up shortly after 2:00PM, they were on site until almost 5:00PM... for a 987sqft house. They spent the last hour reviewing every minor cosmetic detail and left tips such as a small cracked tile that he provided the insight "just put grout in there right away you'll never think about it again. leave it and it will chip back and get worse, i just want you to know". They found evidence of tiny possible past or maybe present leaks (further investigation required, they are not plumbers) like a shower with a tiny hole in the caulking. Again, easy fix now, nightmare if it goes unnoticed. The report i received back was insanely detailed, corrective actions or recommendations noted over small things, photos included for reference on recommend items such as insulation vents and frost free hose bib examples so you understand exactly what they mean and easily. The sellers provided a report that was by another operator, and it was almost embarrassing compared to their report. I hope I'm not shopping for another home in the near future - but if i am, it wont be anyone but Dumitru and team inspecting my future homes. THANK YOU DUMITRU & JEREMY!!! I will be referring you to every body! For future buyers reading this - all the 5 star reviews are legit. can't praise their teams effort enough.

We have a new build and have been living in our house for just shy of a year. We decided to get the inspection done just to make sure all was good before the 1 year warranty expired. We are so glad we did. Not only was Andy extremely thorough, but he also took the time to explain everything on the spot. This made it so we weren’t so overwhelmed when we got his final report. He gave us tips throughout to help with the maintenance and upkeep of our home as well. Also as seen in the photo, he attached stickers with QR codes throughout our electric room. The inspectors arrived ahead of schedule but had no problem catching us up to speed on what they had completed thus far. Colin and Ellis were very knowledgable and friendly walking us through their process at any moment. Whilst providing information on maintenance and future updates I should consider. They throughly reviewed every inch of the unit making notes for a comprehensive breakdown report at the end. They were also able to preform a WETT test on the wood burning fire place which I was very pleased about. We purchased a NB property and we needed a WETT inspection and certification for our new woodstove. When I advised our insurance company that we had installed the stove I didn't realize that the clock would start ticking on their end with regard to our coverage, even though it was summer and we weren't using it until it was inspected anyway.I called a few local inspectors and left messages. Luis Gagnon called back promptly, listened to our situation and even though he does have a busy schedule he booked an appointment to come within a week of our conversation. He was prompt, professional and thorough from start to finish. His pricing was fair, excellent in fact relative to some others that I spoke with.He is courteous, knowledgeable and he follows through with what he promises. We received our inspection report within 24 hours, well ahead of our insurers requirements. I highly recommend his services. We hired Colin to inspect our “new to us” new home. He was very thorough and very professional. Brendan and Ben came down to my potential house today and did a very thorough inspection of the place, everything from a drone to look at the roof to thermal and electrical and moisture detection devices to check for insulation and wiring and leak issues. They then took turns showing me all the photos they had taken, with little arrows on the pictures highlighting things that they thought needed fixing either right away or "eventually". I've used home inspectors many times for past home and condo purchases. Compared to all the others I've used, Barry sets the gold standard. He has all the right equipment, such as infrared heat cameras and Radon gas detectors, to do a thorough and professional job. His report was ready for us just a few hours after the completion of the on-site inspection. And something totally unexpected, he even made note of the major appliance models and sent us a report indicating that there were no recalls on those appliances! He's open to future calls for tech advice, and has customer guides for typical maintenance schedules and repair costs. Honestly, I don't think I could have asked for more. Buyers choice completed our home inspection for the 15 yr old house we purchased. Price was competitive and Brendan our inspector was thorough and excellent to work with. As part of his service Brendan stated he would make himself available down the road to respond to any issues that arise for as long as we own our home. We had a very Wet spring in Edmonton and our sump pump failed and we discovered 2 leaking cracks in our foundation. I contacted Brendan early in the morning as our sump pump was about to overflow and he immediately came over to solve the issue. He also helped us to solve the foundation issue. Both the sump pump and the cracked foundation was covered by Buyer’s choice three month external warranty. There were some issues with the third party provider when we tried to process the claim on our own. However, Management from Buyer’s choice stepped in and ensured the third party warranty provider honored our warranty. This company will honor its promises and stick with you if you run into any difficulties. When they say they will help you for the lifetime of your home they truly mean it. Professionally run company and a pleasure to deal with.

Barry did a thorough "wellness check" after 10 years of home ownership, because I am a paranoid & unhandy homeowner! He finished his inspection in 3 hours, discussing any trouble spots with us as he went, and e-mailed us the report that evening.
