Andy was given a short window on a property we were planning on buying with a quick possession date. He called and emailed myself and spouse and coordinated with our realtor to inspect the property as we were out of town. He found a few relatively minor,but needing to be addressed issues that allowed us to add an addendum to the offer to purchase to have the sellers repair the issues prior to possession. This gave us the piece of mind to proceed with the purchase and when he found out we had planned to house our son who is attending university in Calgary in the condo, he let me know my son could contact him if he had inquiries or needed assistance. Brendan and Ben came down to my potential house today and did a very thorough inspection of the place, everything from a drone to look at the roof to thermal and electrical and moisture detection devices to check for insulation and wiring and leak issues. They then took turns showing me all the photos they had taken, with little arrows on the pictures highlighting things that they thought needed fixing either right away or "eventually". Later that evening, I had a full 64-page report waiting for me in my inbox and an offer to answer any further questions should I have any.I thought they did a fantastic job and would definitely hire them again.

Ben recently completed a home inspection for myself. Ben was very thorough in the report and also at end of home inspection summarizing the findings with photos. Ben explained each finding, ranking the urgency or attention needed for each finding. Ben took the time to also physically show where in the home these findings or areas of concern were located. Andy's a super-guy and really knows his stuff. He had all the cool tools, from heat/water sensing cameras to drones to get in all the nooks and crannies. Buyers Choice was excellent. They were extremely thorough and informative also respectful and punctual.They checked everything! They were personable and very forthcoming with any questions we asked without us feeling like we were interrupting they seemed actually to enjoy sharing the information. The report came the same night it was 69 pages long. It pointed out a couple things we need to address and even small things we didn’t care about. They use a drone and thermal equipment . They include service from a company that tracks recalls on appliances we own including things like toasters etc. Their follow up is also very good. An email the next day to see if we had any questions and reiterating that we could call them anytime with questions We were very pleased with their work .We couldn’t have asked for more. Buyer's Choice Home Inspections came to do our inspection on a house we are looking at buying. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. My partner was very curious and asked a lot of questions, and both Jeremy and Dimitru were always willing to answer his questions and help us understand what they were doing, and why. When the inspection was over, they went through their (very detailed) notes with us and let us know what looked great, and what needed attention. Their report is colour coded as well so we have a list of what needs to be done sooner rather than later, and a list of tasks that we should do every few years to keep everything working in tip-top shape. Money very well spent. This team of Dumitru & Jeremy inspected a townhouse we had put a offer on. With all their specialize equipment including a drone to look around the entire exterior, they found several issues that would require expensive repairs immediately and in the near future. The infrared camera showed when insulation problems were creating moisture issues in the attic and they identified electrical issues where there was wires that were melting creating a fire hazard. They also pointed out where moisture was getting into the basement through the foundation and what future issues that could create. This team prevented us from walking into a money pit that would have cost us tens of thousands of dollars to fix. I highly recommend using them to protect or reassure you on your next purchase. I know we will be using them again on our next purchase.

We decided to get a home inspection on a newly built home, just to be sure there weren't any major, and unseen issues to deal with, and we didn't think there would be many. Dumitru and A Buyer's Choice Home Inspections did a phenomenal job of checking the entire home with incredible detail. They found all items that needed our attention, as well as other items that might've not been of massive concern, but good to fix as well. They also took the time to explain everything and ensured that we were made aware of what things are important to maintain in a home and why certain items should be fixed more prudently. And then the report they provided was extremely detailed, filled with all the pictures of what needs to be fixed or what needs our attention, as well as plenty of explanation and links to sources that would provide further information and explanations about terminologies as well as how to maintain your home to make it last longer. I've used home inspectors many times for past home and condo purchases. Compared to all the others I've used, Barry sets the gold standard. He has all the right equipment, such as infrared heat cameras and Radon gas detectors, to do a thorough and professional job. His report was ready for us just a few hours after the completion of the on-site inspection. And something totally unexpected, he even made note of the major appliance models and sent us a report indicating that there were no recalls on those appliances! He's open to future calls for tech advice, and has customer guides for typical maintenance schedules and repair costs. Honestly, I don't think I could have asked for more. Buyers choice completed our home inspection for the 15 yr old house we purchased. Price was competitive and Brendan our inspector was thorough and excellent to work with. As part of his service Brendan stated he would make himself available down the road to respond to any issues that arise for as long as we own our home. We had a very Wet spring in Edmonton and our sump pump failed and we discovered 2 leaking cracks in our foundation. I contacted Brendan early in the morning as our sump pump was about to overflow and he immediately came over to solve the issue. He also helped us to solve the foundation issue. Both the sump pump and the cracked foundation was covered by Buyer’s choice three month external warranty. There were some issues with the third party provider when we tried to process the claim on our own. However, Management from Buyer’s choice stepped in and ensured the third party warranty provider honored our warranty. This company will honor its promises and stick with you if you run into any difficulties. When they say they will help you for the lifetime of your home they truly mean it. Professionally run company and a pleasure to deal with.

I contacted Jeremy very last minute to inspect a brand new home that I was purchasing. At first I was not going to inspect the new home as its brand new and has a warranty. After speaking with Jeremy and doing some research I thought it was best to hire him for an Inspection. My schedule was tight and both of our timelines were not matching up. Jeremy went above and beyond to make himself available when it worked best for me, and the next day he came out to conduct the inspection on short notice. Jeremy and his partner were thorough, diligent, took their time and were extremely professional. Jeremy and his partner located multiple critical deficiencies and minor cosmetic deficiencies in the home. This inspection paid for its self 10X over plus some. They photographed, marked and documented everything for me. They gave me a list of items to look out for and maintenance items to keep track of. I was able provide the builder with his report and asked them to fix all the items listed. They also checked for Monsters for my daughter, and gave me a Monster Free Guarantee Certificate!! Barry did a thorough "wellness check" after 10 years of home ownership, because I am a paranoid & unhandy homeowner! He finished his inspection in 3 hours, discussing any trouble spots with us as he went, and e-mailed us the report that evening. I was not able to physically visit property but was able to save a lot of headaches by getting Louis to inspect the property as he is very thorough in his inspection it would have cost me more to travel to the location even by car than the inspection cost i will be using him again in my continued search in the Moncton area

This past Saturday Andy did a home inspection for us. He was a very pleasant person to deal with. His attention to detail was impressive. He spent well over 4 hours going through the home from top to bottom. Early into the inspection he found an issue that would cause me to back out of the deal or to reconsider the purchase price and he gave me an option to continue the inspect or end it then. I asked Andy to continued to investigate finding a lot more issues, none of them really noticed when the home was shown to us. When he was unsure of a few issues he reached out to other professionals sharing pictures and asking questions so the he could pass on information to us.Andy was very helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. I believe he had my interest at heart and helped me make a wonderful decision that saved me thousands of dollars. I will definably call him for the next home inspection.

Coordinating the inspection date and time so that the owner, inspector, my son and myself, could all be present, and the tenant not present, all from five different cities and towns, did take some time in this busy world. Andy was patient and accommodating until we finally got it right. Then, at the last moment, when unforeseen changes at home for Andy, threatened to cancel everything, he still made it work. The actual inspection was thorough and very efficient and provided peace of mind about my house purchase.
