Easiest 5 star in ages - Derek’s previous trade experience in foundation, concrete and electrical pays huge dividends in his reviews, and guidance through inspections. Derek was timely and incredibly thorough with his inspection on our home from the 1980s. As someone with very limited knowledge of homes and the problems that come with them, it was refreshing to have someone who brings 20+ years of experience (10 inspecting, 10+ in the construction industry) go through the house and highlight everything from problems of high importance, and explaining them like I’m five years old, to problems we should keep an eye on but aren’t an immediate concern. Derek is extremely thorough and goes above and beyond the expectations of what a home inspection should be. Derek conducted a home inspection for the house my wife and I are in the process of purchasing. He was great to deal with, very professional, and extremely thorough. He reviewed the details with me on site so I could personally understand any issues or anything of note, and ask him any questions about something I was unsure of.
