Andy was given a short window on a property we were planning on buying with a quick possession date. He called and emailed myself and spouse and coordinated with our realtor to inspect the property as we were out of town. He found a few relatively minor,but needing to be addressed issues that allowed us to add an addendum to the offer to purchase to have the sellers repair the issues prior to possession. This gave us the piece of mind to proceed with the purchase and when he found out we had planned to house our son who is attending university in Calgary in the condo, he let me know my son could contact him if he had inquiries or needed assistance. This in my opinion was money well spent. I’d recommend Andy to anyone in need of a home inspection.

Andy’s a super-guy and really knows his stuff. He had all the cool tools, from heat/water sensing cameras to drones to get in all the nooks and crannies. Alan and Chris made fantastic work inspecting the house. They explained in detail and give us recommendations along the way while they were doing the findings. They used a drone to inspect the roof, and other technology to make the inspection as detailed as possible. We received a report in detail with general information, items which are borderline, and significant deficient components or conditions which need attention, repair, or replacement. This past Saturday Andy did a home inspection for us. He was a very pleasant person to deal with. His attention to detail was impressive. He spent well over 4 hours going through the home from top to bottom. Early into the inspection he found an issue that would cause me to back out of the deal or to reconsider the purchase price and he gave me an option to continue the inspect or end it then. I asked Andy to continued to investigate finding a lot more issues, none of them really noticed when the home was shown to us. When he was unsure of a few issues he reached out to other professionals sharing pictures and asking questions so the he could pass on information to us.Andy was very helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. I believe he had my interest at heart and helped me make a wonderful decision that saved me thousands of dollars. I will definably call him for the next home inspection.

If you are in need of a home inspection, look no further than Andy Armstrong. I recently had a home inspected by Andy and was totally pleased with the outcome. Coordinating the inspection date and time so that the owner, inspector, my son and myself, could all be present, and the tenant not present, all from five different cities and towns, did take some time in this busy world. Andy was patient and accommodating until we finally got it right. Then, at the last moment, when unforeseen changes at home for Andy, threatened to cancel everything, he still made it work. The actual inspection was thorough and very efficient and provided peace of mind about my house purchase. Andy was easy to talk to, answered any questions we had and presented suggestions and solutions to any items requiring attention. I would definitely use Andy again for a house inspection.

We had requested a seller’s home inspection on my fathers home here in Calgary. We are BC residents and from the first time I was in contact with them all my questions and concerns were answered.
