Brendan and Ben came down to my potential house today and did a very thorough inspection of the place, everything from a drone to look at the roof to thermal and electrical and moisture detection devices to check for insulation and wiring and leak issues. They then took turns showing me all the photos they had taken, with little arrows on the pictures highlighting things that they thought needed fixing either right away or “eventually”. Later that evening, I had a full 64-page report waiting for me in my inbox and an offer to answer any further questions should I have any.I thought they did a fantastic job and would definitely hire them again.

Mr. Saunders was cordial, professional, punctual and appeared to be thorough and forthcoming in his findings. He completed his inspection within the timeframe he specified and gave a verbal detailed account of the full inspection. All aspects of the home were inspected, in accordance with the scope of an home inspection. I’m satisfied little, if anything was overlooked and that I received an accurate account of the home’s present condition.A detailed report comprehending all his findings, with pictures and explanations was provided, within hours of the inspection. The report was easy to decipher and congruent with his verbal account, of his findings.I felt confident he shared all of the issues that concerned the home within his field of scope, combined with recommendations as to what needs to be done and who would be best to call to resolve the issue. Of particular interest was an insurance fact sheet that could prove to be most useful, when obtaining home insurance. In addition, there was a summarization section of the important matters that need addressing, sooner than later.In conclusion, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr. Saunders … and if I were in need of a home inspection again, I would most definitely request his services again.KT

Ben recently completed a home inspection for myself. Ben was very thorough in the report and also at end of home inspection summarizing the findings with photos. Ben explained each finding, ranking the urgency or attention needed for each finding. Ben took the time to also physically show where in the home these findings or areas of concern were located. Ben also provided a suggestion for the home owner on a solution for each finding. Was very polite and took the time to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend Ben for your home inspection.

Highly recommend! I was able to get a home inspection for a purchase done right away, they recommended a sewer inspection (I didn’t know this was an option), the team was very thorough, friendly and at the end took time to go over everything with me to answer any questions. It’s Friday evening Dec 22. We need a home inspection done for a potential purchase by Saturday Dec 23. Scrambling to find a home inspector last minute before the holidays. Calling around and getting “sorry we’re closed”. Asking my realtor if she might have someone in mind. Realtor calls Buyer’s Choice and gets a hold of Justin.7:42pm Justin calls me to confirm that he will be available to do the inspection first thing Saturday 9am. He does not demand payment up front. (First good impression)I arrive at the house 8:55am Saturday to find Justin and his associate Scott are already waiting. (Second good impression)The inspection is thorough and they also take their time to explain their findings, highlighting what is cosmetic from what is structural. Justin is also giving recommendations on how to correct the defects. Answered all my questions in a very knowledgeable manner. Buyers choice completed our home inspection for the 15 yr old house we purchased. Price was competitive and Brendan our inspector was thorough and excellent to work with. As part of his service Brendan stated he would make himself available down the road to respond to any issues that arise for as long as we own our home. We had a very Wet spring in Edmonton and our sump pump failed and we discovered 2 leaking cracks in our foundation. I contacted Brendan early in the morning as our sump pump was about to overflow and he immediately came over to solve the issue. He also helped us to solve the foundation issue. Both the sump pump and the cracked foundation was covered by Buyer’s choice three month external warranty. There were some issues with the third party provider when we tried to process the claim on our own. However, Management from Buyer’s choice stepped in and ensured the third party warranty provider honored our warranty. This company will honor its promises and stick with you if you run into any difficulties. When they say they will help you for the lifetime of your home they truly mean it. Professionally run company and a pleasure to deal with.

Recently had a house inspected by both Brendan and Justin. Two inspectors for the price of one. I came across a buyer’s choice through Reddit, they had plenty of excellent reviews and I was not disappointed.I had to rethink about my interest in buying the house after the number of items Brendan and Justin found.
