Jeremy’s inspection of the newly-built home we are buying was worth every penny and then some. He found issues we may not have noticed for a long time after moving in, with a detailed report we could hand to the builder to fix everything. He also gave detailed explanations of how various aspects should function and be maintained. Jeremy and Reuben were recommended by my Realtor. Since I was trying to close quickly on the unit I was purchasing, I was concerned they wouldn’t be able to do it in time. They understood my situation and were able to perform the inspection in just two days from first contact. The report was thorough and easy to read. Two very impressive elements were the recall checks on appliances and the use of FLIR (thermal) imaging, which is something often used in my industry, but I have never seen it used in a residential setting. Instant indicator of leaks and inefficiencies! The report was prepared and sent the same day as the inspection. Overall I’m very happy with the work they did and not only would recommend using A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections, I’ll be using them again in the future. I cannot comment on how their pricing compares to other inspectors, as I did not shop around, but for the price I paid, I think it was a great overall value for comprehensiveness of the report and their use of technology.
