I would like to say how impressed I was with the house inspection done on the home I later bought. He was a real professional, with sharp observation skills that he use to carefully check everything. He explained things very well noting everything but letting one know what was more important. And weather did not stop him. There was very deep snow and cold yet he cradled under the mobile home and its perimeter checking everything.I would suggest you request the written report because it can read as things you have to to right away but also things that may have to be done later.

At first I was looking through recommendations for inspectors on forums, but the past inspector we hired was not very helpful.I’m leaving a glowing review for this one because they really took the time to think and talk through a gameplan with me on certain problematic warranty items. What a fantastic inspector! Due to various circumstances completely out of anyone’s control, we ended up having three different inspections done by Chris on three different properties within a few months. Each time he was thorough, exacting and incredibly helpful. Not only did he go through all the elements we needed inspected with impressive care and attention to detail but he also took the time to point out noteworthy elements of each property (for example: hand-carved decorative features or particularly well-kept wooden floors). I recently used Scott’s services for 1 year Tarion warranty inspection of a new built. Overall I would rate the inspection service as average.It was a last minute google find for me based on Google ratings and Scott seemed to be a nice guy but based on my previous experiences with other home inspectors (who were very thorough and focussed), I was actually not impressed with the inspection. For eg. My previous home inspector (unfortunately he retired) used to climb into the attic and look for structure integrity, wiring ,etc. Scott being a big build guy , just popped his head inside the attic opening , took some pictures and that was it for his inspection. In general the whole inspection approach was very casual and did not look like someone who was trying to find any major issues, rather more interested in checking switches , appliances, and checking the inspection list off… which any normal home owner can do themselves. When we hire professionals , we expect them to look for structural issues and things that a normal home owner would not know so I was not impressed.

Perry is amazing. He did a very through inspection of every aspect of the home I wanted to buy, giving me recommendations of what to ask the seller, what should I do by myself (putting insulation or breakers up to code).
