Huntsville’s Bill Weber is excited to be inspecting homes and giving his clients the customer service they deserve.
Weber recently became the Muskoka-Parry Sound franchisee for A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections and says he is looking forward to helping buyers, sellers and realtors by providing quality service in the area.
After being unsatisfied with service he received when having a home inspection done, Weber found himself thinking about what could have gone better. In the end, he determined it was how the inspection was done and the way the information is relayed which Weber feels is lacking in many home inspections.
“The reason I wanted to get started in the first place is because when we had our home inspection done, it was not good,” says Weber. “And that’s the same reason the company was started.”
Doing his due diligence and research on the topic of home inspections, Weber came across A Buyer’s Choice, which was founded by Bill Redfern in 2007. According to Weber, Redfern spent many years in real estate and found many clients walking away from a home purchase at the last minute due to poor home inspection practices by certain individuals.
“They didn’t know their stuff and more importantly, they didn’t know how to deal with the client,” says Weber of the home inspectors.
Redfern then decided to start A Buyer’s Choice with the mandate of being focused on the customer and their perspective, says Weber. There are now 125 franchises in Canada plus many more in the U.S. and the company is even expanding into Europe.
Weber says when he found out A Buyer’s Choice was dedicated to the client’s needs and founded by Redfern because of similar experiences with home inspections, it made him want to get started.
