Brian was very thorough and knowledgeable with all the various aspects of a house that could require attention or maintenance. He was very patient in explaining us all different mechanisms (like HVAC systems) in the house which would potentially require attention (immediate and mid term) and also recommended us workable solutions. He was really honest, direct and transparent with the analysis and didn't appear to sugarcoat or tone down any potential issues we could face later on, which we really appreciated! After work, we received a very detailed 60+ page report which was easy to comprehend, and well structured to identify all potential issues in the house.Overall very professional, punctual and knows what he is talking about. I was fortunate to have worked with Brian on a recent property inspection in Burlington for our first time home purchase. We could not be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Brian was thorough, professional, and incredibly easy to work with.Brian arrived early to the property and had captured very detailed arial images of the roof, roof mechanical systems and property condition (very useful at closing) before my wife and I had even arrived on site.Brian took the time to explain his findings in a way that was clear and easy to understand, which gave us both complete confidence moving forward. The 57 page, extensive report was very detailed, well-organized, and delivered quickly allowing us to waive the conditional clause on the same day. Brian documented all deficiencies (images also) within the scope of his task and provided detailed recommendations of how to proceed with his findings. Areas of concern were clearly organized as "Immediate Attention Required" sliding down to basically, "Take care of this yourself", which included Brian's veteran advice, or who to contact for professional trades support. This made the next steps in the process seamless.To add to the value of his service. Brian identified, while inspecting the attic space, when the roof had approximately been redone and that new lumber had been installed during that process. What a wonderful surprise.I really value working with professionals who deliver on their advertised expertise. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brian and A Buyer's Choice Home Inspections to family, friends or anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable home inspector!
