Colin is an experienced inspector that has achieved the Certified Master Inspector designation. He is also a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter with over 25 years of construction experience in both the residential and commercial fields. Colin also has a background in Civil Engineering. Working in all aspects of the home building process, everything from the forming and placement of concrete, to framing, and even the interior finishing’s gives Colin a firm grasp of the building process. Colin has worked as a Construction Superintendent for both small and large residential and commercial construction companies, as well as owning and operating his own construction company for a number of years.
Colin has successfully completed the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection training course, which has been accredited for 420 academic hours under the National Certification Program for home and property inspectors. Carson Dunlop is widely recognized as the gold standard of home inspection training in North America.
Colin is a certified member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and adheres to their standards of practice. Members of InterNACHI are required to continue training and testing throughout the year and must pass a re-certification exam each year in order to remain a member.
