Jon was incredibly thorough in his inspection and the extensive report was ready the next morning with his detailed notes and pictures of everything. He even brought a ladder and took pictures of the attics and insulation and was on the roof inspecting the roof, gutters and chimneys. I would highly recommend Jon Levy for home inspections!

We were unable to be at the home inspection and Jon provided a very thorough professional inspection and report. We definitely were made aware of the issues that the property has, and Jon did not cut any corners and reported on all possible areas of the house! We recently used A Buyer's Choice Home Inspections when purchasing a home on PEI remotely. Since we didn't have the opportunity to see the home in person before buying, it was very reassuring to have John walk us through the home and point out the specific concerns he had. The report John provided was also very well laid out -- he made sure to front-load issues that needed our attention most urgently.Ultimately, John's input/report helped strengthen our negotiation for a price reduction to help remedy some of the issues with this home. Jon Levy was recommended to me by someone who was satisfied with his work. I had him inspect an older home I'd made an offer on which had gone through extensive upgrades, so there was quite a bit which needed to be thoroughly checked out. He went over the house from top to bottom and found all kinds of things that most people would have missed. He didn't just point out flaws and move on, he gave great insight into how imperfections could be fixed and gave timelines on when certain repairs would be needed. I walked away with a high degree of confidence that he'd found all of the flaws and fully explained to me what would be needed to fix them. He was also very good to point out anything that could be a safety concern in the immediate term or what might develop into a safety concern down the road.He wasn't trying to sway my decision on the home one way or the other. He was just giving me unbiased, fair, impartial insight and information. Based on my experience, I think you'll find peace of mind and confidence in having Jon take a look at your prospective future home.Also, in the Covid environment I should mention that he was able to do everything electronically including signing documents, invoice, payment, and receiving the final report.

He was very thorough and found some very big deficiencies in a property we were purchasing. Jon saved us a substantial amount of money. The reports are thorough and easy to read.
