Pieter brings a strong combination of hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a practical, solutions-focused approach to his role with A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections.
His background began working alongside his father on industrial buildings and high-end home renovations, giving him a solid foundation in how homes are built and how they perform over time. He later spent 14 years running his own business specializing in home theatre systems, CCTV surveillance, satellite TV, and ongoing maintenance, developing a sharp eye for detail, system integration, and client service.
His experience also extends beyond residential work. As a farm supervisor and equipment operator in both the United States and Canada, he operated heavy machinery for seeding, harvesting, and spraying, further strengthening his mechanical understanding and problem-solving abilities. As a licensed drone pilot, Pieter brings a broader perspective to the inspection process, using technology to assess areas that are not always visible from the ground.
Pieter is known for his calm, clear, and practical approach. He takes the time to walk clients through their home in a way that helps them understand what matters most, providing context and clarity so they feel informed and comfortable moving forward. Outside of work, Pieter enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He is active and enjoys mountain biking, running, and golfing.
