After graduating from university in New York, I worked at the US Embassy in Rome for the summer before returning to New York to work in a law firm in midtown. Having found this job to be monotonous, I took a job teaching English in Korea, where I stayed for about four years. Following my time there I returned to the US and continued teaching in Boston for a year before moving to Honolulu.
While in Hawaii I spent six years teaching and organizing activities for the school and its students. In 2018, I moved to Beijing and taught at both public and private schools until the Covid 19 pandemic made this impossible in 2020. A friend of mine since grade school owns and operates a home inspection company in Hawaii and was being flooded with business as the housing market took off last year. So, with my job no longer possible in China, I decided to make another major change in my life and become a home inspector.
