Corné’s career journey has been shaped by a long-standing interest in construction and a passion for working with people. After starting out in construction when he was younger, he transitioned into sales, where he spent most of his career, though he always looked for a way to return to a more hands-on trade.
Becoming a home inspector allows him to combine both worlds; his knowledge of construction and his enjoyment of helping clients, all while guiding people through one of the most important decisions of their lives. He finds the work especially rewarding because it lets him provide clear, honest insights that help buyers move forward with confidence.
Originally from South Africa, Corné moved with his family to the Cayman Islands in 2018 before settling in Canada in 2021. Now living on the Island, he enjoys coaching rugby, spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and most importantly, being with his wife and two kids.
Corné will be serving the entire Cowichan Valley area including Duncan, Ladysmith, Lake Cowichan, Chemainus, Langford, Nanaimo, Chemainus, Victoria, Port Renfrew, Mill Bay, Langford, Salt Spring Island, and all of the Gulf Islands
