With more than 19 years of experience in Alberta’s industrial sector, Kirsten brings a meticulous eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism to every home inspection.
For 17 years, he worked as a Quality Control Welding Inspector, inspecting pressure piping, structural steel, pressure equipment, and welded components to ensure they met strict industry standards. He now serves as a Quality Manager, overseeing quality assurance programs, audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Before entering the oil and gas industry, Kirsten gained valuable hands-on construction experience in residential framing, concrete work, asphalt paving, and building decks and fences. This practical background gives him a strong understanding of how homes are built and helps him identify both quality workmanship and potential concerns.
Kirsten is a Certified Commercial Property Inspector (CCPI), holds his CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector certification, and has completed extensive training through InterNACHI. Using advanced inspection technology, including thermal imaging, he provides thorough inspections and clear, easy-to-understand reports. Kirsten works alongside his wife, Melissa, the local A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections franchise owner and home inspector, proudly serving Fort McMurray and the surrounding area. Together, they are committed to providing honest, unbiased inspections and exceptional customer service, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Kirsten will be serving the Fort McMurray area, including Timberlea, Eagle Ridge, Dickensfield, Thickwood Heights, Wood Buffalo Estates, Waterways, Beacon Hill and other surrounding communities.
