Meet Craig! Craig moved to Canada from Australia thirteen years ago and has since built a diverse career in warehousing, logistics, and facilities management. Craig has always been fascinated by how things work and how major building systems function and interact. When he bought his first home, he was disappointed with the home inspection as it missed issues he had noticed during his initial walkthrough. While the report helped close the transaction, it wasn’t particularly useful as a homeowner. Learning about his own home and understanding the maintenance and long-term planning it required inspired him to become a home inspector.
Craig enjoys the investigative aspect of home inspections. He explains, “Every home is unique and tells a story about itself. It’s rewarding to follow the clues and find not just the issues but what was done well. Additionally, talking to clients, understanding them and their needs while they’re negotiating one of the biggest decisions of their lives isn’t a responsibility I take lightly.”
Originally from Ferntree Gully, Australia, Craig grew up in a house that backed onto a national park, where he and his brothers would spend hours exploring the woods. This instilled in him a lifelong love of travel and adventure. At 22, he left Australia to explore Europe, eventually settling in Canada a year later. Now, Craig has a family with two young children and a loving wife, and they make a point of traveling as much as they can.
Craig will be serving the Halton-Hamilton area including Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills, Waterdown, Carlisle, Ancaster, & Millgrove.
