Austin did an detailed complete inspection for us and provided amazing detail, recommendations and pictures of everything. He did fantastic job of explaining everything to us in detail when we met him onsite.Because of his inspection, major issues and repair were found in the home and we decided not to proceed with the purchase. Our experience with Brad was exceptional. He is the premier choice of inspectors among many of Nanaimo’s realtors, for good reason. His solid experience in the construction industry, combined with his painstaking attention to detail, reassured us that he had captured all aspects of our potential home purchase.Brad carefully explained every issue with the house that needed attention, and he presented them in priority. E.g. Roof – immediately; furnace and heat pump – replace within another five years; electrical service – 100 amp adequate for current home requirements; a few other small details that needed tending to, etc. He was calm, humorous, professional, unrushed, and unfazed by our “ignorant” questions. (No such thing, apparently, as a dumb question.)The next morning we received our report, complete with full details and photos – all 75 pages!We wish he lived next door so we could be the pesky senior neighbours, but in the absence of that, we feel we’re off to a solid start with our new home.We could not recommend Brad highly enough.

I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received for the home inspection I needed on my pending home purchase! It is such a huge investment, and James did a fantastic job. The digital report, which includes video and photos, also listed discovered issues in Levels of priority. Items which need to be addressed immediately and those that could be done over time. The report is designed so you can just send the individual contractors their relevant part of the report, so they can see exactly what needs to be done. Thorough, friendly, professional service.
