Steve is a very pleasant and cordial person. Very good at his job and will take the time to explain things if your unsure. One of the best home inspectors I have encountered. We were in the process of buying a farm. Steve came out to do our inspection and not only did he take his time and go through the whole outside and inside of the house but he was very detailed in his inspection. Also to our surprise Steve asked if he could come back to the property at no charge to us just to double check something from his inspection that he wanted to make sure he gave us enough info about. Thanks to Steve we found some pretty major issues with the house which in turn saved us from buying a money pit. Steve was amazing and I can not say enough good things about him. We will definitely be using him again in the near future!

We contacted Steve with a view to a Pre-Sale Inspection as rercommended by our Realtor. We were unfamiliar with this practice and Steve thoughly explained the process and the benefits of a pre-sale inspection. We had no doubts about our home but wanted a heads up to avoid surprises should a prospective buyer bring in a building inspector. Since this was a pre-sale inspection we remained in our home during the inspection and Steve was exceptionally thorough, explaining the process as he moved through the house. Steve went above and beyond to the extent of repairing a bathroom vent while he was up in the attic. Steve was patient, kind and thoughtful with a pair of seniors! Steve is a professional and competent inspector. We would highly recommend Steve Pittman for pre-sale and buyer inspections.

Steve pointed out a few things that were missed when we were looking at the house initially that assisted us in making a decision on whether or not to purchase the home. Steve will go above and beyond to ensure you receive a quality inspection. I used Steve’s services twice for home inspections. As a first time homebuyer who has very little knowledge on house inspections, he was able to point out critical issues that saved me thousands of dollars, ultimately leading me to walk away from the first house I was so convinced was the house for me. He will spend twice as long on your house inspection than the average inspector, provide you with a very detailed report of your home, assist with insurance questionnaire applications all while maintaining friendly, courteous and prompt communications. His services are definitely few and far between and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for house inspections.
