Steve was very professional , arrived really early (appointment was at 10am- finished at 1pm). Honest and did due diligence with his Job. Steve went through every scribbles and corner of the property. When I mean every corner he did. Also let me know all that needs to be fixed right away if I as getting the property and what was not a rush and also if you open up to him can let you know if it’s worth it. I wasn’t there during the inspection but according to my brother Paul showed up on time and did a fantastic inspection on the house. By the time my client and I arrived for our scheduled meeting with Stuart, he had already completed the exterior inspection of the townhouse and was ready to greet us with tools in hand. We enlisted Stuart Websdale from A Buyer’s Choice to do a home inspection on a prospective house we were considering purchasing. Stuart spent a long time going through the house in great detail – this was not a lazy, once-over – it was thorough. I saw one other reviewer give Stuart a bad review because he wasn’t pleasant, to which I’d like to respond to. I didn’t hire Stuart to be pleasant – I hired him to make sure the house I was about to purchase wasn’t a lemon. I think he’s naturally a lower-energy personality, but I think that one negative review was very unfairly written and completely unrelated to the job he was hired to do. To each their own, I guess. I’d highly recommend Stuart!

My wife Mae and I hired Stuart for our home inspection in early April. He arrived on time, and performed an incredibly thorough check of every aspect of our house – including electrical, plumbing, air quality/mold/asbestos and structural. He even used a drone to capture images of our roof and other external structural points. We got Stuart to join us on a PDI inspection for a pre-construction condo in Hamilton. Stuart was knowledgeable and I felt safe that he was around as our PDI inspector on the builder side didn’t come as prepared as Stuart did. I felt heard in my inspection as I address my concerns and Stuart explained my POV using the contractor language/terminology to the builder’s Inspector. Stuart came with his tools & equipment to test all circuits, appliances and even found out one of the new toilets was clogged/backed up (major issue – needed a plumber’s attention). A regular person may have not found it right away.Honestly, every homebuyer should get a home inspector during their PDI inspection or after buying a home. Saves time and future headaches. The service from A Buyers Choice Home Inspections Halton Hamilton is outstanding from start to finish, from Shawna’s help booking the appointment even though we had to revise the appointment from our end a couple of times to Paul’s careful, methodical inspection of the property we are buying. As we went through the proprety inside and out Paul carefully inspected everything and took time to point out and explain any concerns and how they should be rectified. We received his written report by email less than 24 hours after the inspection and again everything Paul observed, good and bad, was clearly explained in writing with recommendations to rectify concerns clearly spelled out. I had a couple of questions after reviewing the report which Paul responded right away. We even received an email from Paul a couple of days later thanking us for our business and saying that included with our inspection is free technical advice for as long as we own the property! Having David as our home inspector was a very valuable experience for us as he was very thorough in his checks and answered all of our questions in a very detailed manner. Outstanding. We needed a home inspector that would help us with our home purchase. After interviewing a few different home inspectors, it was clear that David was heads and tails above the rest. Even during our initial phone call, he was happy to share his wealth of knowledge. This extended to the home inspection where he was thorough and talked us through everything he was doing, and also suggested what sorts of maintenance would be required once we did own the house. He sent us the inspection report about five hours after the inspection was completed, with detailed findings and photos of every single room. David will share the good and bad so that you can make the best informed decision as to the condition and value of your house. Best of all, David is friendly and makes the process fun with a great sense of humour.

I booked David for inspecting my new house, he was very responsive and patient over the phone to explain the process thoroughly for me and answered all my questions. On the inspection day, he’s there before our appointment, spent the time inspecting and explaining both external and internal. I’ve seen home inspections before but nothing compare to David’s service level.
