We purchased a NB property and we needed a WETT inspection and certification for our new woodstove. When I advised our insurance company that we had installed the stove I didn't realize that the clock would start ticking on their end with regard to our coverage, even though it was summer and we weren't using it until it was inspected anyway.I called a few local inspectors and left messages. Luis Gagnon called back promptly, listened to our situation and even though he does have a busy schedule he booked an appointment to come within a week of our conversation. He was prompt, professional and thorough from start to finish. His pricing was fair, excellent in fact relative to some others that I spoke with.He is courteous, knowledgeable and he follows through with what he promises. We received our inspection report within 24 hours, well ahead of our insurers requirements. I highly recommend his services. We won't hesitate to call him immediately again if we need the services that he offers.

Found items that I would have never thought of.Undermined worries I had, but for him was very justified.Provided an extremely detailed report pointing out even the smallest flaws you could think of. Sometimes the flaws pointed out in the report were difficult to see, BUToffered support before, during and after the inspection if I had questions that needed to be answered.I'd say 4.5 out of 5. An outstanding home inspector. The level of detail and thoroughness in his reports is nothing short of amazing. They are really documents one should keep for years and use for guidance well after the house's been purchased.We called Louis two times: the first time for a house that we eventually didn't buy, as his report showed major (and sometimes covered-up) structural problems and suspected asbestos.
